The 130th Anniversary Commemoration of the Donghak Peasant Revolution was a national memorial event held to reexamine the historical significance of the Donghak Peasant Revolution and to reinterpret and promote its core values of democracy and equality in a contemporary context. The ceremony was organized as a formal state occasion centered on official protocols, including a VIP wreath-laying and memorial tribute, commemorative and welcome speeches, a congratulatory video screening, a proclamation of the Twelve Articles of the Reform Platform, and a special performance marking the 130th anniversary.
