The Korea Buddhist Culture Expo is a cultural industry exhibition that highlights the contemporary value and potential of traditional Buddhist culture, based on the rich Buddhist heritage dating back to the Silla Dynasty and the abundant cultural resources of the Daegu–Gyeongbuk region.
The Expo aims to develop regional Buddhist cultural tourism assets into sustainable content, grow into an internationally recognized cultural event, and enhance the region’s cultural stature as an international tourism destination. Through exhibitions, hands-on programs, and cultural products, it provides a meaningful platform where citizens and visitors can engage with Korean traditional culture and experience rest and healing in everyday life.
